we’ve taught girls to romanticise nearly everything a boy does. when i was younger i thought it was cute that boys chased the girl even after she said no. i loved it when after a girl moved away from a kiss, the guy would pull her back and force it on. i thought a guy saying ‘i won’t take a no for an answer’ was passionate and romantic. we’re literally always teaching girls to romanticise abusive traits.
THERE IS SUCH A FUCKING PROBLEM WITH THE EDUCATION SYSTEM WHEN STUDENTS ARE IN TEARS EVERY SINGLE NIGHT AND WAKE UP EVERY SINGLE MORNING WANTING TO THROW UP AT THE THOUGHT OF GETTING OUT OF BED WHILE THINKING THAT THEY’D RATHER BE DEAD THAN GO TO SCHOOL
Girls get mocked for liking high heels and lipstick. Girls get mocked for liking sports. Girls get mocked for liking tea and books. Girls get mocked for liking comics books and video games. Girls get mocked for liking math and science. Girls get mocked for liking boys. Girls get mocked for liking girls. Girls get mocked for liking both. What the fuck are we supposed to like? Water? Air? Come on, tell me. I’m dying to know.
i think that you should atleast accept people's opinions. in other cases you are exactly the same.
it’s not even about politics or opinions or being politically correct in every sentence. it’s that you should ALWAYS treat people as equals no mather if they’re trans or cis, disabled or not, possibly have a certain sexuality, are of a certain gender, are poc or not, have a home or live on the street, have addiction problems or not etc. i’m so done with this conversation. the next person to tell me that i’m not allowed to ditch someone’s opinion that dehumanise people on those things i’ll seriously just tell to shut the fuck up. it’s not the same as what i do. i’M SO FUCKING DONE.
i don’t give a fuck if being a feminist is seen as unattractive. like go fuck yourself. people should be treated as equals and if you don’t think that then there’s lots and lots of people who will find that very unattractive. like common sense before your freaking ideals.
